As enterprise IT organizations continue to centralize their storage resources into large storage arrays connected to hosts by a flexible storage area network (SAN), the likelihood of a digital investigation including these devices is on the rise. This presentation will provide a brief introduction to storage networking from a forensics perspective and review what changes and what stays the same when a SAN is involved. It will primarily focus on fibre channel SANs with some brief mentions of iSCSI along the way.

prevention solution that protects organizations from information leaks
and data loss, both at the perimeter and inside the organization, by:
