Atlanta HTCIA Chapter - Directions to Buriss Institute

Directions to Kennesaw University (KSU Center) locations.
Note: The meetings DO NOT take place at the main campus. If you end up at the main campus, you are in the wrong place.

From downtown Atlanta:

Coming North from Downtown Atlanta proceed North on I-75 to Exit 271 (Chastain Road Exit). This is also one exit North of Barrett Parkway which is better known as the Town Center Mall exit.

Follow the Exit 271 ramp off the interstate and up to the redlight on Chastain Road. Stay in the right lane and turn right onto Chastain Road. You will immediately see a Cracker Barrel restaurant on your right. Stay in your right lane and you will turn right (Cracker Barrel is on the right) at the first redlight onto George Busbee Parkway.

After turning onto George Busbee Parkway proceed approximately 100 yards past the Cracker Barrel and the hotel. The KSU Center will be located on your right (behind the Cracker Barrel). All parking at the facility is free so feel free to park anywhere.

As of February 2008, the meeting location has shifted to the Buriss Center at the KSU COntinuing Education building. The Buriss center entry is located near the read entrance of the KSU center. If you park in the extreme back area of the parking lot, you will be near the entrance to use. Entering in one of the usual KSU Center entry points is inconvenient, so please try to find the correct entrance. The exact meeting room will be identified when you enter the Buriss Center lobby. Also, don't ask the KSU registration desk personnel where the meeting room is. They will most likely not know.
